Our Sustained Legacy

With the spring semester off to a strong start, we are looking ahead to a promising 2025 through groundbreaking research, teaching and engagement at our universities and in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥. We are also excited to work with Governor Mike Kehoe and the state legislature on our priorities that will serve each of the 114 counties, as together we continue creating a successful future for all ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ans. Our faculty, staff, students and alumni are known throughout the world as exceptional and forward-thinking leaders who dedicate themselves to excellence no matter the discipline. This excellence encompasses who we are as a UM System community and our shared vision of success that continues into this year.

Community

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ S&T

A Regional Innovation and Technology Hub () led by ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ S&T has secured $28.5 million in implementation funds from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) for its efforts focused on critical minerals processing over a 14-county region.

Magen Rooney-Kron, an assistant professor in ±«²Ñ³§³¢â€™s College of Education, has won the awarded by the international organization TASH in recognition of her research in education and its inclusion of people with significant support needs.
